Leading to a Major Certificate FETAC Level 5 Early Childhood Care and Education.

This course is for those who wish to enter the Childcare service, and work in a supportive role in different Childcare settings.

  •    Gain the knowledge, skill and confidence to work independently and       under supervision in a range of        Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) settings, or to progress to higher education and training.

Course Type: Part Time        Duration: 2 years Days: Monday and Wednesday Evenings

Course Fee’s

The course is free to participants who are early school leavers or those who are currently unemployed, or who are on a very low income.

Applications

All applicants are interviewed to help them choose the right programme and level of course. An interview also allows us to make sure that any appropriate resources and supports are provided to learners, when the place is accepted. 

Places are allocated based on successfully meeting the eligibility criteria, learner need, learner suitability for the programme and places available.
