One-to-One Tuition
Where one student works with a tutor is a huge part of the work we do. This allows the student to learn at their own pace, at a time that is suitable for the student. We help to improve skills in English, Maths and basic Computers. An increase in self confidence and self belief takes place when skills increase.

The ABE Service has worked with parents of first and second year students from St. Kevin’s Community College, Dunlavin and Blessington Community College in order to help them support their children with maths homework. The programme took place one morning a week for two hours for six weeks. As parents said, "It really helped with understanding and working with maths at home with children. I have now got the basics and I am happy with that".
This continues to be a programme that gives people in employment the opportunity to upskill - be it Computers or English. We are presently working with employees from VenTac , RH, and also farmers who wish to upskill.
This is a programme where students attend for tuition for six hours per week, usually for three hours over two days for fourteen weeks. This intensive tuition really gives students the chance to improve in Maths, English, Computing, and also the soft skills of confidence building.
